I've always been fascinated by the geometric formations in bismuth crystals, and I thought of a landscape made entirely of bismuth. The man in the foreground appears to be exploring this world, and the looming behemoth in the background suggests that danger or wonder awaits him.

I aimed to tell a story with this piece, creating a sense in the viewer's mind of what will happen next.

I drew this piece as winter was turning to spring. I felt inspired by nature and wanted to capture the beauty of trees and plants. It has since become one of my favorites.

I was inspired by old myths of a turtle with the world on its back. My drawing tells a smaller story of a man and his amphibious companion wandering the land.

I imagined a witch who, instead of stirring a cauldron, stirs the swamp itself. I incorporated elements of a crow in the witch's design, such as her feathers, bent legs, and beaked mask. I focused heavily on creating a sense of atmosphere and mist by controlling contrast and detail as space recedes.

The composition in this piece is innate in the character's design. The "S" curve of his body, elongated face, and billowing smoke carry the eye across the page while the lantern serves as a strong focal point.

After a visit to Cambodia, I was inspired to render one of the ruins in a drawing. I was very pleased with how the light appears to shine through the canopy.
